I am a native of Beijing, China and I came to the United States with my family in 1999. I obtained my doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 together with a master's degree in Lab Animal Medicine. After graduation, I practiced in Western Massachusetts for two years before moving back home to New York City. I had experience working in private practice, corporate medicine, research and academia before I joined South Shore Animal Hospital. I am fluent in both English and my native Mandarin Chinese. I am very excited to join South Shore not only as the MDVM (Managing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), but as an additional practicing veterinarian that enables our hospital to meet the demand of our clients and better care for our patients.
In my spare time I enjoy cuddling and spending time with my adorable cats Niu Niu and Sailor Moon, going to the gym, and cooking for my family. I am looking forward to meeting you and caring for your pets very soon.
